Participate In a Study

 

 At THAY Medical we are always working on interesting and innovative projects. Therefore, we are frequently looking for people to volunteer as participants in these projects. To be eligible to participate you have to meet the inclusion criteria listed and be able to physically attend the session.

If you fit any of the profiles we are currently looking for, and if you would like to take part in one of our non-clinical trials, please fill out and submit the form for the study you are volunteering for, including your name and contact details, stating that you are happy for us to follow up with the final screening questions before we can book you in to participate.

Female Intermittent Catheter Device

We are looking for individuals from the following groups: 

  • Female catheter users:

    • Experienced Female Cathether Users

    • Potential female catheter users (i.e. someone diagnosed with a condition that will require the use of a catheter in the future)

  • Caregivers:

    • Carers of people who use a female catheter device

    • Carers who have no previous experience of working with female catheters

  • Health Care Professionals:

    • Nurses (generalist and specialist).

    • Physicians working in Urology or related fields.

All participants must be fluent English speakers and able to read and understand English well.

Why are we doing this?

The study is being carried out to ensure that the catheter device, the packaging and the instructions are understood by all, in accordance to regulatory usability engineering guidance for medical devices.

What will happen?

This is not a clinical study and is completely non-invasive. The study will involve a 1 to 1 study session with our project team to understand how people interact with the product and provide their feedback.

What do you get from this?

There is a financial incentive to cover travel costs and time.

Study date and location
The study is taking place in Bournemouth between 19th - 21st December 2022.
Due to the nature of the study we are looking for participants over the age of 18+ only.
