Post Med-Tech

Masks, rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer were the stars of last week’s exhibition.

This year’s exhibition with Med-Tech Innovation Expo was something different to what we are used to, but oh how good it was to finally be back out there interacting with real people rather than having a screen and 500 miles in between us.

The days at Med-Tech were filled with reunions with old colleagues and partners, meetings with clients and interesting conversations with visitors as well as fellow exhibitors.

Whilst working distanced is something we pride ourselves in having done well throughout the pandemic, human interaction face to face is something we value highly and the importance of which can never be replaced. Even in this digitalised age, business is still all about relationships, and we love being back out there meeting new people and forming new connections.

The main thing we took away from this exhibition was the fact that not a lot of people we spoke to were aware of what Human Factors are, despite it being such a vital part of the development of a device. This has motivated us further to keep spreading the word about Human Factors and take every opportunity we get to promote it as well as inform others about the impact and importance of taking Human Factors into consideration in an early stage once developing a device.

Overall, we had a great time at Med-Tech Innovation Expo and are looking forward to attending our next exhibition, FarmaForum in Madrid, more and more each day.

Until next time, stay safe!
